"From the Inside Out"

I was taking some personal time out this evening and a book I'm reading had a short verse with it from The Message//Remix. It's an interpretation for Roman's 12:2 that I want to take with me this week and I thought it was worth sharing too. It reads;

"Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it wihtut even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what He wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragining you down to its level of immaturity, God brigs the best out of you, developes well-formed maturity in you."
